Ice anyone?

Here is the finished ice house, it is designed to be transportable by fitting into the back of a pickup. I have never been ice fishing before, but if I were to go I think that having a warm place to fish would be most important to me. The house is constructed of prefabricated panels with insulation filling the space between studs. There is some assembly required but once it is assembled on the ice it is made to stay. Have a look...

  1. I really like your rendering of your perspective. Contrast makes a big difference.

  2. Jake,

I like the design for your ice house. Your boards look great, the black really adds depth to your drawings. Keep up the great work! The truck helps for scale, but what about the perspective? Or a silhouette from the top in the plan to show scale?

  3. I like how you incorporated the opening windows into your design. Not many people thought about that in their design. I also like how you utilized the canvas/tarp into the building.

    Great work!
